Love the disco ball at Sub Zero! I never noticed it until a friend pointed it out (seriously, how could I have not noticed this sparkly amazingness?). My husband and I joke about putting one in our living room to make Grover go crazy (he loves chasing light, especially when listening to Macklemore. Random, I know.) and I love this bedroom redesign/redecorate featuring a disco ball: Celebratory Decay. He vetoed the antler chandelier I found on Craigslist, but maybe he’ll go for some serious shine?
I’ve loved Crush Wine Bistro and Cellar since it opened. And why wouldn’t I? There’s so much to love – great food and wine, fantastic service, excellent ambiance… I thought I knew everything there was to know about Crush. But I didn’t…
I’ve written before about how much I love learning about the amazing things people I remember from high school are doing in our community. This week, I thought I’d post an old HS photo to celebrate three fellow West High grads in the news – Miriam, Liza, and Becky, you are awesome!

One of my favorite things about blogging is meeting new people who share similar interests. So, imagine my excitement when I heard from Andy (that’s her in the picture, along with her pup, Sadie), over at Alaska Eats, Hikes, Adventures.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting some of the rumored new restaurant ventures downtown, and on Friday, one of them opened: Flattop Pizza and Pool, self described as, “Pizza, pool, beer, full bar…is there anything more you need?”
We met some friends there Saturday night to decide for ourselves.
Grover is my writing companion – he usually tries to sit on the keyboard, which makes it hard to actually write anything… Here are some fun stories from last week for you!
