Love Note: Colorful Graffiti

pretty orange and words

I don’t always love graffiti – in fact, there are plenty of times that it just doesn’t belong.  But this lookout shack (if that’s what it is!) down by the Ship Creek boat launch sits all alone, and the graffiti side looks out at the ocean. I can see how it’s the perfect canvas.

Plus, I love orange. It makes me feel warm and happy and I have to be careful about not making my life all orange everything. So of course, I liked this orange wall covered in colorful words. I’m not sure what “duck crew” means or how “bubbles, phat, and swiss” go together, but isn’t the visual combination of everything pretty? And interesting backdrop for relaxing and enjoying the view.

I found some other graffiti that I loved just a few days after I spotted this…more orange, more pretty words. Will share it another time…

  1. Lol. I have lots of orange things too. Orange coats. Orange car. Orange shirts. I always said my favorite is blue. Might be orange now.
