Happy Solstice!

Bone chewer

I feel like I should have done something special to celebrate the winter solstice like jumping into a freezing cold lake, visiting the site of an ancient solstice tribute sites, or at least eating a pomegranate.

But, I spent the day enjoying my cozy home, watching old movies like Ghost Busters, and cuddling with my favorite furry little Frenchie. It was just what I needed – my spirit is rejoicing now that I’m rejuvenated. And I do have some pomegranate juice on hand, maybe that will suffice for a mini celebration?

I hope that however you spent the solstice, you did something that made your heart happy.
