Drink (Kaladi Bros) Coffee, Feed a Kid on New Year’s Day

KBC Mug

This is the Red Goat’s New Year’s Day schedule (snagged from Facebook):

  1. Celebrate.
  2. Sleep in.
  3. Buy coffee at KBC and help feed a hungry child.

This is my New Year’s Day schedule:

That’s right, once again Kaladi Brothers is donating 100% of drink sales on New Year’s Day to The Children’s Lunchbox , which is a program of Bean’s Cafe.  And, the baristas all work on a volunteer basis, which is pretty cool (thank you caffeinated drink slingers! What would any of Anchorage’s coffee lovers do without you?).  To top it off, this year Shell Alaska is matching whatever amount is raised.  All in all, it’s definitely going to be a catalyst for community!

Oh Kaladi Bros, there is so much to love about you.  Thank you for being such an incredible part of Anchorage in so many ways!

I love Anchorage. I love what it is, what it's been, and what I dream it will be. I share my adventures with DJ (my husband), my fabulous family and friends, two frenchies named Grover and Teddy, and now, all of you. If you love Anchorage too, get in touch - guest posts are welcome!
